We have a 140 gallon salt water fish tank at our house and it has been much neglected since Presley came along. Robby finally decided to clean it and he's thinking about doing a fish only tank since the upkeep of coral has been taxing. Here's a pic I took of our anemone and the maroon clown that hosts it. We are going to sell it because the anemone likes to eat the small fishies!

Day 23: 5 months old and new friends!
We finally go to meet our fellow August mommies and babies, LaToya and MiKylah and Jessica and Brenna. We met up at California Pizza Kitchen in Grapevine and had a great time. Mikylah and Brenna are both a-freaking-dorable!

Day 22: Yah lunch?
Friday I went to La Hacienda on my lunch break because I was Jonesing for some chips and salsa. This was my yummy meal! It was tortilla soup and salad...yum!
The title of this post comes from my Mexican nanny from when I was little. She didn't know English very well so we spoke Spanglish to each other and she would ask "yah lunch?" to see if we were ready to eat lunch. I could go on forever about all the funny phrases that came from those times with her, but I'll save them for another time.

Day 21: Sippy cup
Presley got a sippy cup from Mimi for Christmas and I have been putting about an ounce of water in it and letting her play with it to get used to it. She hasn't really been eager to drink from it, but she loves to play with it!
Day 20: Fuzzibunz!
We are transitioning into cloth diapers, so we received our first "fluff" mail today. It's a one size Fuzzibunz and OMG it's incredibly soft! I wish I had been more in tune with the cloth side before P was born because I can't believe how amazingly cute and comfortable these diapers are. Compared to cloth, disposable diapers are like wearing a paper towel. I want all my undies made out of this fluff!

Day 19: Another day off
Look who woke up smiley. I guess someone is feeling a little better! Hopefully she can go back to daycare tomorrow so I can go back to work!
Day 18: A sick girly
Well Presley woke up with a fever so I ended up not going to work. She did not want to eat and would scream every time I put her down. I called the doctor and made her an appointment. Her fever was gone by the time we got to the doctor, but as soon as she looked in her ears, she knew. Both ears are infected. Poor baby. This has probably been going on since Friday and I thought it was just teething. Big mommy fail. The pediatrician prescribed her some Amoxicillin and told me to give her Tylenol if her fever comes back. Since Robby is out of town, I had her sleep with me last night.
